I'm Artem — Operational Manager and the IT side of Berne. The dispatch software, the phone system, the parts lookups, the website forms: if it has a screen, it's mine.
Background
A fleet of technicians generates a lot of moving data — tickets, routes, parts orders, invoices, photos from the field. My job is keeping the systems that carry that data fast and boring. The good kind of boring.
What this role covers
Service-management software administration, phone and messaging systems, parts-supplier tooling, and the operational reporting the dispatch desk runs on. Plus the everyday manager work: schedules, handoffs, process fixes.
