Background
I started doing installs, which is where I learned how badly a vent line can be routed and still pass a walkthrough. Crushed flex behind the pedestal, forty feet of duct with four elbows, a bird screen packed solid with lint. The dryer usually isn't the problem.
What I work on
Gas and electric dryers — igniters, flame sensors, thermal fuses, cycling thermostats, belts and rollers. Vent inspection and cleaning, duct rerouting, and moisture-sensor calibration on the models that never seem to end a cycle.
Why I work at Berne
Dispatch gives me time to check the duct instead of pushing me to swap an element and leave.
